Food safe packaging

DeBudelse packaging & print is BRC-certified. This means that both the packaging process and the packaging intended for the food industry meet international standards. The entire chain is carefully aligned with this: all types of ink, varnishes and glues, lubricants and polishes carry a food-safe label and are free of mineral oils.


In addition, food-safe packaging is made from (environmentally friendly and/or biologically responsible) types of cardboard that are composed of new, clean wood fibres. This way, the cardboard remains free of mineral oils during the production process. Recycled cardboard often contains undesirable components for food packaging. That is why De Budelse only uses 'clean' types of cardboard for the food industry.
